First off: It just sickens me that this change mainly hurts those who are newer to gold making and are just trying to reach tier long boi.
Okay, So blizz has left players who only pay for one subscription in the dirt and I’m sorry but this will not work for you unless you buy more accounts.
The first is to move you auction house toon to a new account so you can post while you play like normal.
The second method which will keep speeds the same and if not better than they were before will be to use 5-8+ accounts posting auctions at the same time, I’m assuming this is what most multi-boxers like myself will do to keep the AH stocked with the transmog that everyone wants.
I hope these changes will be reverted and blizzard actually puts time in to fix their code instead of going OH NO THESE PEOPLE ARE SUDDENLY BAD AFTER 16 YEARS. The auction house rebuild was meant to fix these issues. Blizzards failure to do so was not the player bases fault, so don’t take it out on us.
It’s sad that there has been a target on a specific group of players. For me I enjoy going out, farming items that I spend hours collecting and then posting them on the auction house. Not everyone that uses TSM has a 2nd account to spend hours posting with the new throttled system and I hope it gets lessened soon and it’s just about unusable at the moment. People can say AH goblins are bad, but every economy needs the people that go out and farms old matt’s, herbs, patterns, pets, toys etc. It isn’t just the transmog selling community that is effected by this and it saddens me that at the moment my joy in WoW has been sucked out of the game. I usually spend 1.5 hours posting my auctions and this morning it took me 3 hours. Time I like to take out of my day every day to make gold, now I’ll have to look at splitting those auctions across other accounts to cut the time I spend posting down because I still want to keep my items I have worked over the past 2 years to collect and provide to people in this game.
I couldn’t agree more. As a newer gold maker this has seriously hurt my ability to be able to post my auctions. I rely on the gold making to be able to pay for my wow time after I lost my job. Wasn’t losing my job enough? No, now I am at risk to lose the one thing that helps me get through these difficult times.
Oooh, ooh! Please sell tokens people. I think I’m going to cash out as soon as I can sell enough stuff that the rest fits in my inventory. Maybe I can spend the Blizzard Bucks on a good game. I enjoyed Overwatch a lot more than I expected to; maybe OW2 will be just as good.
They silently applied a hotfix/nerf yesterday to make it so that if you make more than about 25 interactions with the AH in a minute, all further interactions are delayed by 5 seconds.
Yeah nothing says fun quite like spamming hundreds or even thousands of items on the auction house and causing it to lag for everyone else just because you want to post as many things as you can as fast as you can with as little effort as possible on your part.
