right now its not bannable and they allow it or they’d make them unkillable.
here…I fixed your ‘problem’.
I think in cases of sustained behavior like this it can be seen as griefing but if its just an occasional thing i doubt much would be done as there is a pvp solution to this problem.
Surely learning engineering level 1 and going to Oribos or Dal would be easier lol
Love it when they come to Org and try to mess with our npcs. Everyone gets in on trying to get the ‘intruders’. It’s exciting and just fun. Sometimes I miss pvp servers.
Oh not to mention, Horde have 5 AHs in Org. At most, Alliance only attack one.
Wait, five? There’s only two in each capital to my knowledge. For Org, one’s in VoS, other is VoH. Stormwind has one in Trade and one in Dwarven.
As for griefing, no. Even if done for an extended period PvP problems are solved via PvP. Blizzard has had this stance from the very beginning, and it’s not likely to change.
agreed…but if they dont want to waste a profession slot for AHs, I guess was more my point.
We ALL have access to the garrison. It was less than 50k gold to buy the 4 garrison bot peices last time I did it.
But yeah…taking engineering is the easiest, fastest way to avoid this ‘problem’
I’m confused on this. How is this not a PvP problem? It’s a warrior. He has no stealth and little escape options and is in the enemy capital city while flagged. Anybody can mount up a defense and take him out. People actively choosing to ignore him for no reason other than ignore him and not actually do anything about it does not suddenly mean its zone disruption. Peoples’ inaction is just as accountable as someone’s actual actions in this case.
I RP on MG all the time. I see what happens. People ignore him all the time, complain about him in general, but no one actually does anything about it because they just can’t be bothered. They can complain about it but they don’t actually take initiative to do something about it. If anything, I would argue the Alliance who willingly group up with him to MC him and heal him are contributing to ‘zone disruption’ more than the man actually just attacking the city and playing the game.
Awwwww, how about you flag up and just take care of the problem? Or is da pvpeeeees to scary for ya
Yep, there’s one in Valley of Strength, and Valley of Honor. Then you have one in the Valley of Wisdom (Tauren area) and 2 in the Valley of Spirits (one with the Trolls and one with the Goblins).
I actually stood against him to a stalemate! Granted he killed two or three people around me…
At least, I think I know who they’re talking about…
Either way, this. PvP problems have, and will, always be solved by PvP. If you don’t like the AHs being attacked, attack theirs! Bam! Capitalism is dead! Goblins are in a panic!
At most, commerce is dead for a few minutes. The AH folk respawn fast.
…Huh. I had no idea! Why do they get more AHs…
Not defending this behavior… but are you sure they aren’t part of fight club… Oh right I wasn’t supposed to mention fight club.
Either way they could be protesting violently against in game capitalism.
its the only form of pvp in this game I actually have any respect for.
they KNOW they are coming to die when the attack orgrimmar, but they do it anyway.
THAT is REAL pvpers. Not these cowardice lowbie gankers
I’m confused on this. How is this not a PvP problem?
lol…it CLEARLY is and blizzard CLEARLY allows it if not entirely wants it to keep up the PvP in this game.
I remember when the NPCs in ogrimmar had some barrier around the stage there… I couldnt get up there. I never saw them being killed back then.
One day they were just able to slaughter the four of them.
Evidently someone decided it was ok to killl them.
I fixed the problem in two ways.
- Taking Engineering. AHs on every street corner.
- spending a little gold for the Garrison AH so now I have my own PRIVATE AH where no one can make me whine about NPCs dying.
Hooo boy…if this bothers you, never play EVE online.
right? In Eve this is called “content”
Players here are getting so soft they are going to need to change the name of the game to World of Nanny State.
If your primary city can’t deal with a single Tauren you don’t deserve to use the AH.
Just go to the other one
No it isn’t.
Or having the bot in your garrison.
If he kills them,
Leaves the area,
And comes back later.
It won’t be considered zone disruption.
He would have to perma camp the auction house without leaving for multiple hours before it would be considered zone disruption.
It’s unlikely they would be able to hold the auction house long enough without being counter killed to reach that point.
If they are doing hit and runs, well that’s just pvp, and not against the rules.
