AH Changes

I’m not a Goblin, but I did enjoy selling a wide variety of items from various professions - vantus runes, tomes, food, potions, etc… it is always fun to login and see what you sold the night before or when you swap toons.

It’s still early and I’m sure supply/demand will keep shifting but it looks like the margins are so small for most of the items I would put on the AH that it’s not worth the time to even craft it anymore.

For example: Tomes went from about 200g to 70g. Vantus runes from 850gish to less then 100g for some of them, food that was in the 30g range down to 5g. Enchants were going well below crafting cost.

I was on a relatively low pop server but I did check some of the big ones to get an idea of what it might look like and it looks even lower than anticipated.

My suggestion would be to limit the commodity AH to herbs, ores, etc… and not to finished products like tomes, vantus runes, potions, ingots, enchants, etc… since you go through multiple stages of crafting to get to those end products.

Just my humble opinion

I disagree, because the cost of materials that go into crafting things like tomes should fall as well.

Not really, it’s just death blossom through multiple stages of crafting. The margins is what got hurt. I’d have to do the math, but death blossom at 2g each for a tome at 70g is barely going to be profitable.
