@Aggrend: Enable SoD Character Migration/Clone to TBC Anniversary

Translation - “Hello, I’m not sure if you can understand this through translation since I’m using a Chinese system, but thank you for your support and the effort you’ve put in. While playing on the Legion Remix server, I noticed—and Blizzard’s blue posts also state—that Legion Remix characters can transfer to the live servers after reaching max level without waiting for the event to end. The gear there is all labeled Legionfall, and after transferring the character to live servers, the gear is replaced accordingly. This feature is already active; you can see it on YouTube or test it yourself by creating a character. As for SoD, a lot of the gear is clearly labeled Season of Discovery, so transferring and keeping our regular gear should also be possible. It would be ridiculous if Blizzard can’t even manage something this simple from a technical standpoint.”

Totally agree here. There is absolutely no reason why they can’t figure out a way to make this happen. It’s totally possible, so what is the REAL reason they are not offering this? That’s the question.

I’d honestly pay $100 per toon to clone my SoD characters to TBC. I get that some SoD-only items don’t exist in Anniversary-just grey them out (e.g. SoD Ashbringer) and cap gold so it doesn’t wreck the economy.

Yes please.

Better yet - just delete the gold. Who cares.

Wat u been smokin? 100 per clone only togo to TBC, thats crazy talk.

Drop the pipe, and get a thing called a “job”. It will do you wonders

Bumping forever

Nice come back, you just reused my smoking thing worded differnt,

Is stepwork your alt? Why you replying for him?

Ur just in here talking to yourself that means.

Wow that is crazy talk, nice job.

I personally would prefer to transfer/clone to MoP Classic over TBC.

For most of the items it won’t be an issue as they have a regular counterpart (including for example T2 for other specs just becomes regular T2). When it comes to Scarlet Enclave gear have them convert to your classes T3 set and SE weapons/trinkets/accessories to the nearest relatable Naxx item.

I would prefer quite literally anything, over the characters simply rotting.

I wouldnt mind transfering my char from sod to tbc anny, with atleast naxx gear but they get de-scaled back to original stats so there are no worries of player having unfair advantages, that incluilding getting Corrupted ashbringer to epic status and not legendary

There is no universe we would get SoD stated gear on a transfer or SoD only items that are brand new to SoD (SE tier for example). No one is asking for that.

Or…. hear me out… Retail

You could just play the characters.

Thats had bring my main stance since sod ended, being able to transmog in retail our hard earned gear would be a dream! Plus it would give more pleayers a chance to try sod if they want the cool sets

I know, but when talks began about the future of the sod characters this was(might still be) a negative for the negative nancis that sod char where to powerful and that leveling is easier and bla bla bla you know the drill.

They could always just make all the sod items cosmetic with the Season Of discovery tag similar to what they do for retail Remix
