Just some shower thoughts I had moving forward, to “balance” the factions and gearing options moving forward with later Phases.
The quest rewards in the Hinterlands for Jintha’Alor (and honestly, a lot of the other higher level zones) should have an equivalent option for the opposite faction, perhaps through the Supply Box reputation(s) at Revered/Exalted, or from the PvP event. Specifically Rune of the Guard Captain, as it is a Trinket locked to Horde only, which almost every physical DPS class would normally use until late into BWL if not Naxx, and it is obtainable in the late 40’s from a leveling zone.
The upcoming ‘Leveling Raids’ should be in Zones/Locations more “neutral” and not 10 feet outside of a major city. Sunken Temple, Maraudon, Blackrock Depths, etc are all viable options for the level 50 Raid, and aren’t right next to a major city.
WSG reputation from Ashenvale shouldn’t be locked to a single weekly turn in. People are already Exalted with their AB faction from Lumber turn ins, and it’s barely over 2 weeks into the phase. Right now, it takes 21 weeks to get to WSG Exalted. Even if you reduced the total rep gained from the event itself, it’s better than what we’ve got right now. (And no, I am NOT suggesting you cap the AB gains from the Lumber turn-ins, since that does nothing but hurt the people who haven’t already taken advantage of this system.)
Can you PLEASE update some of the gear models for these level up raids/new PvP vendors? Looking at the 2h models for the Ret Pally sword or the Shaman 2h Mace compared to the Warrior 2h Mace. It’s a gd skull on a broomhandle. And don’t get me started on the “Rocket Cleaver” in Gnomer. It looks like a white from Elwynn Forest, not a badass 2h epic from a raid’s final boss. It is almost like some of the weapon designers did the absolute bare minimum for raid drops, but went above and beyond for the new PvP stuff.
