I don’t know what Blizzard is looking for. I have tried my password, changed it several times, still get the screen, and am totally confused by what to do.
I have restarted, dumped files, re-installed files, and am stuck. I would appreciates some help if I am the one having the problem, but if this is a “feature” to be endured since today’s “repair”, please let me know when it is fixed.
Restart computer?
Run as a administrator or whatever a mac calls it.
Open Activity Monitor and quit the Agent (you may see multiple instances).
Log out and back in before you open Blizzard app.

The password it is requiring is the mac password you use to log on to your mac.
Nine months later, the error we’re getting is something that was broken early November, and has not yet gotten fixed to allow Mac users (and a few pc) to play the game.
This is still an issue. Have any of you found a fix in the last 2 years? I have posted fresh posts a couple times now with no blizzard response at all, and no solution in sight. 3-5 times daily this stupid popup appears asking me for my password because the battle.net “agent wants to make changes.” It happens without warning and it steals focus from whatever I was doing. Can’t count how many times I’ve died in high mythics because this thing has popped up right when I need to side-step a one-shot mechanic.
guess blizz jus tdoesnt give af, cant even install a game off of battle.net right now
