I was watching a warlock from one of the top guilds talk about demo today. There was a full minute during his rotation where he cast nothing but shadow bolt. Does that sound like fun or compelling gameplay?

Think it’s just an excuse to prune things and be able to move forward with future new abilities and stuff.
The game has gotten so repetitive that I this point I think this might be for the best, there will be room for actual new stuff instead of an entire expansion just adding a couple passive procs to abilities bc there’s no room to add new things.

If they need to simplify WoW a bit so I can play it once in a while on my console in my recliner on an 85" TV. Let them! I really do hope these are steps toward a console port of WoW. Even if it ends up needing to be its own separate entity much like Classic Servers are.

This was affliction gameplay I saw too for aoe.
They were literally mashing seed.
It cost 1 shard and they immediately regened one shard. And had multi cast procs too.
So they were just staying shard capped mashing seed.
But this is probably the future of other specs and classes too.

There’s nothing wrong with making things simpler, I just want them not to make them so easy as to become boring through lack of challenge.
I mean, it was okay with Fury Warrior being ‘bash head on keyboard’ simple, but other Class/Specs need to keep their nuances to retain their individual flavour.

Yes, they have been about talking about Blizzard should prune WoW for years. Now that Pruning is actually happening. Blizzard had been bending their knees for the 2nd time this year to the minority.
