So I boosted a shaman to 58 and the quest to get the shaman only skyfury helm (pre BiS) called “again into the great ossuary” which takes place in scholomance seemed to be bugged. I went to pick up the quest it was repeatable just basically constantly giving me the quest item needed but not showing up in my quest log. I guess for some reason when you boost a character it auto completes ALL the class quests for you which is surprising as some of the class rewards are the best items for your character pre raiding. So to be hopeful I ended up doing it anyway to see if I could pull a fast one on old WoW. 3 days later of constant failure I soon found out this quest is harder than the whirlwind axe for warrior. But I did end up defeating Death Knight Darkreaver with the help of some pretty geared players, but his head didn’t drop… I have an mp4 file of me defeating him, the only way to spawn him is through this quest. Please I’m begging you just give me my skyfury helm before TBC so i can feel a little happy before the first lvl 61 quest item blows it out of the water. I did all the requirements for the quest, I have been through 3 days of copy-pasted ticket reports with them ending with GMs basically telling me to go somewhere else to report the issue. Please help, Thank you.

Bump for this, looks like boosted shaman aren’t able to obtain Skyfury Helm because it auto-completes the quest and gives you no loot.
