Again, Blizzard's composers inspire me

Whatever flaws we might feel the modern game suffers from, two things continue to amaze me - the cinematics and the music.

This one is wonderful, with it solemn tone that reminded me of a requiem mass.

I have to say personally that this one didn’t hit me much the same as the other soundtracks, perhaps because it’s more different than the usual style but I can’t put a finger on it. I’m not gonna judge the rest of the OST by this though until the actual game comes out.

By the way, it’s definitely wonderful, my point was more directed on how much it fits.

It is different, although there are sections quite reminiscent of tracks like Invincible with the female vocals. I don’t mind different really; I mean, how different is the Horde Troll music in BfA different from the music in Legion. Its very moody and sad and I look forward to hearing what music comes out of Shadowlands.

Well at least he has a decent theme song…before his beat down.

Agreed. BfA has some systemic problems, but the various art departments are firing on all cylinders. Keep up the good work guys!

He had it coming.

YOU CAN CLEARLY COME DOWN FROM THE THRONE ANYTIME YOU WANT SO WHY DO I HAVE TO GET YOUR DAMN HORSEMEN?!

I turned teh music off in Wrath, haven’t turned it on since.

Meh… I’m not a huge fan of the music this patch. There’s really only one theme that interests me from Ny’alotha.

The composer up until 2017 was fired. A shift in feeling a few years later isn’t surprising.

this news affects me in bad ways

The sign of a good manager is successful delegation.

I’ve played this game off and on since BC and I still can’t call up a single song from memory alone.

at least the login screen music?

Sometimes I go back and have to listen to the BC login to restore 1/4th of my soul

Nope. Not by memory alone. Plus that’s the piece that changes the most frequently.

I can immediately call up any given melody in Ocarina of Time, for comparison.

Lament of the Highborne is the only one that comes to mind for me. Just because I had it running in my garrison whenever I remembered to turn it on.

Yeah, I know there are songs I hear a lot. But I tune them out so quickly because they’re repetitive and I spend so much time in a given zone that they never stick in my memory. I’ll never end up humming it or anything because it invariably becomes subconciously deleted while I concentrate on whatever else I’m doing.
