I was thinking that when he swaps to his fiery weapon after someone attacks him and then he drops them with procs… why cant there be NPCs in WoW like that! like rares disguised as a normal NPC walking around then we you attack them they like swap out different gear like a normal melee looking mob just throws on a sick axe with a cool enchant on it and are like a bit stronger now and did new abilties or something.
‘Sleeper Agent’ typed mobs sounds cool. I think EQ did something like that with a shapeshifting insectoid race that would pose as the regular creatures in a zone but get knocked into their more powerful true form after dipping below half their HP.
I kinda wish wow was a bit more like this. Maybe that green 2 hander that dropped was actually being used by the mob, or they had extra health because of all the stamina gear they had on.
I always wished they’d done that with Velarok Windblade in Searing Gorge.
Then have him roast you after you’d done his bidding.
that is an awesome idea! instead of flying away and letting you live… like stun and conflag you… then have his minion or someone from the flight path area come rez you
