Believe me just play the style you like the most. You won’t be enjoying it if you play something you’re not tuned with. The fantasy behind it I mean.
Currently I think is destro/demo and then affliction behind those two but remember those buffs we got are going to be tuned.
Especially that they are still working bugs on our talents. And who knows what else bugs out.
And in reference to raiding you unfortunately have to learn how to play at least 2 of the 3 specs. Depends on the boss encounter designs.

Honestly im kind of blown away with this rework for Warlock, Every single spec feels real fun currently but its also all new so hopefully it lasts.
Ill admit im an absolute doomer for what they did to aff with Malific Rapture and still feels bad for me to press but the playstyle of this new aff is right up my ally.
Ill most likely be “maining” Aff but i will be swapping between all 3 constantly as i get board easily.
Can people stop with this meme please? The question wouldn’t be asked if the questioner wasn’t solely interest in min max values.
The response was fine. Nothing matters till tuning is finalized and we are at least a month away from that. The op provided no context and picking the spec you find most appealing thematically and rotationally will serve them well in all but the highest of content.

Personally for pure dps classes I’m undecided on I’m focusing on the hero tree I find most interesting and then playing both specs that offer it. Once I’ve had time in s1 to see how it actually plays out I’ll shift around but I don’t see the point in playing demo first if I find hellcaller to be the most intriguing.
