10-50 was great, 50-60 has been absolute slog. Zone quests giving barely any XP, dungeons being constantly locked behind ilvl and pre-quests. Bunch of low effort kill quests. Hope dragonflight doesn’t make 60-70 as boring as this.

You have two XP buffs right now. There’s some gear from the AH you can use and then the side quests and world quests will also give you gear as you go. The zone quests will get you weapons.
I’ve never had an ilevel issue for dungeons in ToF.

Yep, lot of people refusing to level past 50 until chromie time comes which apparently is a while longer.

I’m just leveling races for heritage armor right now.
Just leveled another alt from 50-60 tonight. A little longer then 6 hours without heirlooms.

Isn’t it out on the 15th with phase 2 of the prepatch? When the 50% XP buff leaves.
Then you got idiots like me who are permanently stuck on Character Creation wondering what to do.
I won’t do 50-60 until a good Timewalking event comes, then there’s some good xp and the way I prefer to do it.

If you find a tank you can do 50 to 60 in a little over 6 hours dungeon grinding.
All you need is ilevel 80 which is cheap and easy to get. I paid a little over 1k which is 1 daily quest when you do daily quests in shadowlands one daily gives you 1.5k.
I understand shadowlands is terrible but 50 to 60 is not bad.
you can do it also with 3 -4 hours of questing queueing for dungeons as you go .

I hear ya. I did pet battles from 50 to 60 for a bunch of my alts because I don’t like SL. I did the same thing in Legion and BfA too.
So it might be a me thing, I dunno, but it feels like questing in older stuff is just more fun.
The quests are still the same, instead of fetching bear arses,
you’ll be fetching dragon arses.
Possibly a keg of mead also.
3 days ago, I was level 30, having not played this character since WotLK. I’m now 60, and through Zereth Mortis. It’s not as bad as you think. Just set aside time slots to play and pace yourself. I know it isn’t the most fun, but neither was farming Netherwing rep.
How many 60’s you have?

Just logged in and checked. I have 11. And yeah, they’re not all on the same server, so I forget sometimes. lol
Shadowlands leveling is carried by the alien setting. If it doesn’t click for you, it’s a slog. It also doesn’t help that they left the best two zones for the back half. Bastion looks and feels boring. Maldraxxus looks cool but it’s quest chain is meh.
Being able to fly from the start in Dragonflight should make things better, I hope.
