Let me first say this: I do not like tots.
Might as well remove focus and make that the main resource. Kill command generates tots, others spend it. Add an extra pet interaction where it also gives an extra tots every once in a while.
They already gave sv infinite kill commands which has eliminated any remote possibility of focus starving anyways
I’ll be honest I’m struggling to find the big gripe y’all have with tip. It’s fairly easy to use and just gives extra damage and now consuming it grants extra damage with sent.
I will say that it would be nice if we had a passive or a proc that can consume more than one stack but that’s really the only thing I feel it’s missing.
I also wonder If monks go this hard over hit combo since it’s basically the same sort of passive damage boost that revolves around just doing your rotation.
That’s the thing. They added talents that made tip completely pointless and it won’t have to be managed at all. It’s a pointless talent.
I think you’re confusing pointless with boring.
It’s just passive damage boost for correct play and it’s not even a unique format as other specs have similar talents but I don’t really see the forums as whinny as the hunter ones especially when there are bigger glaring issues.
we have more uptime of tip of the spear in the war within than we do on midnight
kinda hard to believe since now every kc will give 2 stacks with th talent
pack leader is generating a ton of tip every time you summon a beast in TWW, fote maxes your stacks, as well as coordinated assault. based on log testing in alpha, we generate less tip than we do on live

no i totally get you, that’s why i explained all the tips we have in retail. i didnt believe it at first either till i looked at logs. could be the low stats we have on the alpha too, but yeah after playing a fair bit on dummies it doesn’t feel too particularly egregious with the quantity of tip on alpha
