After Honor level 30, Randoms BGs have been almost all losses

So after I passed Honor lvl 30 and the player pool changed to a different group of players, I have only won a handful of games after playing probably close to 30+. The losses are bad many times, lopsided.

Some seem to be automatic losses : Battle for Gilneas, Temple of Kotmugu, and Seething Shore.

Battle of Gilneas and Warsong Gulch end in graveyard camps many times.

For some reason, Twin Peaks feels like it’s pretty even.

I checked many players of the opposing team on WoW armory and they are decked out in full conquest gear (many BiS).

Feels weird that I maxed out my toon in honor gear - the main currency of random BGs for random BGs- only to be farmed.

I’ve always been curious about this… how big of a role does “honor level” play in the hidden matchmaking for casual, random BGs?

It seems to be a terrible way to do so, if this is the case.

Edit: Either way, you’ll win some, you’ll lose some. You should be close to 50% W/L if you actually keep track. And not just like 10 games, track like 20 or 30 games and it will be close to that.

welcome to Supersweaty Town aka level 60 random bgs. if you want to just log on and pvp with no aspirations of ranked play might i suggest finding a friend in the 51-59 level range to partysync with.

there used to be a noob bracket of H0-30, this was a holdover from the legion prestige system, where a prestige player had access to their full pvp talents while a non prestige player didn’t. when they changed to honor levels in BfA they made it so that H0 PVErs with mythic egos wouldn’t be dropped in with full time pvpers who would destroy them wearing blues.

as far as i know this bracket got the axe in SL along with scaling.

I dont think honor level plays a role at all. I only say this because last night we had a good game in Tauren Mill. We ended up losing but it was really close. They had some really good players so I moused over the honor levels and one dude was like 1544 or some crazy &*$#. Others were as low as 20 something.

I may be mistaken but I do not think Honor level is considered. I am pretty sure that Honor level is account wide. With that said I don’t think it has anything to do with it just for the simple fact that my 51 Priest has the same Honor level as my 60 Mage. Could be wrong though.

maybe the brawls dont consider honor level but random bgs definitely do. had this convo yesterday scroll down.
