The current lore has the Titans being the supposed Pantheon of Order, but the story seems to be heavily hinting at the idea that the Titans may not be the real Pantheon of Order. For starters, it’s rather odd that the Titans can just freely reside in the material plane when all the other Cosmic Pantheons are stuck in their own cosmic realms. It’s no secret that WoW is heavily inspired by DnD, and in DnD lore, more powerful beings of the Outer Planes have a harder time manifesting in the material plane. We already know that the Void Lords, the Pantheon of Void, follow this logic. They can only, at best, manifest faint echoes of themselves, such as Dimensius. Why wouldn’t the Pantheon of Order follow the same logic? The Titans reside in the material plane and can access their full strength, unlike Dimension. The 6 forces are supposed to be balanced, and that obviously wouldn’t be the case if one Pantheon could freely manifest in reality while the other 5 couldn’t.
Additionally, it has been shown that World Souls, supposed members of the Pantheon of Order, can very easily be molded into a being of another cosmic force. Argus, after being pumped with Death magic, emerged as a being of Death, hence why he went the the Shadowlands instead of the Realm of Order upon his death. Telogrus, the World Soul Sargeras cut in half, would have emerged as a Void Titan after being pumped with enough Void magic. Even Sargeras, an already emerged Titan of Order, joined the domain of Chaos after pumping himself with Fel magic. The Titans installed a bunch of machinery in Azeroth which infuses her with Order magic, the the Titan birthing process seems to be pumping the World Soul with enough Order magic until it emerges as a Titan of Order. So the “natural” Titan birthing process seems hardly any different than the “corrupted” Titan birthing process. Just replace Order magic with Void/Death magic, or any other domain of magic presumably.
We also learned in Shadowlands that the Pantheon of Death are essentially robots who were manufactured in Zereth Mortis. So shouldn’t the Titans, the supposed Pantheon of Order, have been manufactured in Zereth Ordus? Why is their creation process so vastly different?
One last piece of evidence is Eonar’s connection to Life. Eonar, despite being a supposed member of the Pantheon of Order, was in love with Elune, a member of the Pantheon of Life. Eonar even planted a World Tree (what is essentially Life’s version of an Old God), into Azeroth. Aman’thul even stronger reprimanded her for this. Why would an innate being of Order do something so anathema to Order’s goal of converting Azeroth to one of their own? Is she just an airhead who got easily duped by Elune? Or could it be that perhaps Eonar had been heavily infused with Life magic and was on track to becoming a “Life Titan” prior to Aman’thul finding her planet, suppressing the Life magic, and pumping her with Order magic? Therefore, despite emerging as an Order Titan, Life still had some sway over her, causing her to feel inclined to plant a World Tree on Azeroth despite it not being in Order’s best interest.
Anyways, all of these details lead me to believe that none of the Titans, except maybe Aman’thul, are actual members of the Pantheon of Order. I think that what happened is that Order won the battle for Aman’thul’s World Soul, causing the first Titan to emerge as an Order Titan. Either that or Aman’thul himself is a member of the Pantheon of Order who did something like take over the body of the first Titan. Either way, Order capitalized on their victory of claiming the first Titan and had him travel the universe and convert the other World Souls to Team Order. Perhaps some of the other Titans are Order zealots like Aman’thul, though Eonar and Sargeras clearly aren’t given their associations with Life and Chaos. I find it most likely that the other Titans are also just being manipulated by Aman’thul.
Given how much Blizz has been hitting Aman’thul with the villain bat, and also given that Blizz has straight up told us that we will learn of a grand Titan conspiracy in TLT, Aman’thul seems like a very probable last boss for TLT. Maybe we also beat/kill the other Titans in TLT, but one planet+ level being seems like enough imo. Also, none of the other Titans besides Aman’thul and Sargeras have really ever been painted in a bad light. I think that the others will learn that they have been manipulated by Aman’thul the entire time. After his defeat, I think they might strive to bring balance to the universe by each embracing one of the cosmic forces.
Eonar will be the Titan of Life obviously
Sargeras will be the Titan of Chaos obviously
Norgannon is a stereotypical mage/wizard, so he will be the Titan of Order
Aggramar doesn’t have any super strong association to any of the other cosmic forces, but he seems very noble, and Tyr, his Keeper on Azeroth, is heavily associated with Paladins, so Aggramar could fit as the Titan of Light
Golganneth would be the Titan of Water and Air
Khaz’goroth will be the Titan of Earth and Fire
Maybe Argus could be brought back as the Titan of Death
Maybe Telogrus could be brought back as the Titan of Void (I’d assume that his soul went to the Void Realm)
Azeroth will be the Titan of the 7th Force, which will be something along the lines of Balance/Reality/Harmony/Unity.
