I’ve felt like my DPS dropped by quite a bit as Fury. I’m not entirely sure what happened! Has anyone else felt this way?
Looks like you’re using Reckless Flurry - it was hard nerfed by about 75%. That’s probably the main thing you’re noticing.
Thanks man. I should probably read patch notes a little harder. lol. Time to find a better thing now!
It’s understandable because it actually isn’t in the patch notes lol. I suspect it was stealth nerfed, but it may have been an accident? No clue.

Yes, I also felt a drop in my dps. I ran some sims and discovered a 450 dps loss from the night before 8.1. I have one Reckless Flurry trait and it took me forever to get it. Now it was nerfed and nothing else I have in my bags makes up for the loss. Being weaker every patch seems to be the new norm, and as Fury it seems sadistic to stealth nerf. I really hope Penguinjim is correct and that this was a mistake and gets reverted quickly…not holding my breath though.

As far as anyone knows, it’s a bug or an error. We really don’t have official confirmation either way though. Pretty crappy, aye. For now, look for the other new traits.

I will be fine. But I was provoked and as a Fury Warrior I react recklessly! it’s in my class description.

It’s been like this on the PTR for over a month. I made a bug report, class forum thread and tweeted the Devs weeks ago. They obviously don’t care and it’s probably intended with zero communication. Just another reason why I shelved my warrior and decided to play a lot less.

On the plus side i had a bloodthirst trait before and now its cold steel, hot blood and the trait feels pretty nice.
Though according to sims it puts crit in second place for me stat wise.

Nerf to reckless fury iirc wasn’t even in the patch notes. Believe Blizzard said it was a bug.
So far there has been no official word, but yes. The nerf didn’t even show up in the ptr builds or datamining, it just appeared ~8 weeks ago or so, whenever the PTR first went up.
good ol ptr system doesn’t do jack.
