Hello.
Seems people are doing status updates on playing WoW. Here is mine:
I am going to keep playing for a while. I have been enjoying Shadowlands. It isn’t as bad as WoD.
I am having fun in Sanctum of Domination. If 9.2 didn’t release until February, I wouldn’t complain. I have some stuff I enjoy doing in game, and I don’t have time to do it all.
Castle Nathria was awesome. And I look forward to how this expac will play out, and what will come after.
IMO, I feel both expansions are so close to the same that one isn’t really better than the other. I feel like BfA wins slightly in the content department, while Shadowlands wins slightly on endgame systems (even if Covenant restrictions are a pain).
But my personal interest in the game has fallen drastically in Shadowlands. I don’t believe that’s because the game is worse than BfA, I think it’s just… more of the same, and I was already tired of what was being offered by the 2nd half of BfA.
I was about to say “good riddance,” but you baited me.

I’m 3 weeks in and so far liking it a fair bit. Something that I find a bit different in WoW is that people have very strong opinions on the forum compared to other games I’ve played. Mostly in other games people are just grateful to get content, but here people get upset when something isn’t the way they want it. It isn’t bad but maybe a sign of an old game.
Inside the game it’s pretty chill and fun.
