Affliction Warlock Mage Tower

How are you guys doing this?

P1 is easy. P2 is easy.

P3 is the problem. I can’t deal with the Hands and get Magespear to 33% before his stacking speed buff lets him get to me through CoE. There is no time to cast wrath after he stacks to 4 and the Hands don’t rot fast enough to just dots. I have tried every build I can think of, but I always die at exactly the same point because Magespear gets to me or or the Hand one shot goes off (the second one - the first one I FH interrupt with a macro).

I have macros for CoE and Hand interrupt. I am using SL gear, iLVL 240 (scaled to 50). I have 0 issues with health until I get one shot.

Looking for some advice. I have watched several videos, but for some reason those guys are doing MUCH more damage than I am.

I had a crap ton of attempts last night, like 5 hours worth -_- It is definitely over-tuned now for aff.
Best attempts I was 4 or 5 hands into P5, at which point they start overlapping with the soak and I would miss one or my pet would die somehow. Raest was still over 50% by then I think, so yeah.

I used 3 targeting macros which helped a lot. One to target Karam and cast CoE, one for the hand and interrupt, and one for Raest and agony just so I could swap back to him easily. Have enemy heath bars on so you can see your dots without having to target, it’s default hotkey “V”.

P1 run Karam around the outside of yhe area and and out back somewhere so you have more time at p3 start and less puddles mid.

Hands will depend on your build some. I took ID and vile taint every run. Then went back and forth with AC and SL. Also tried a AC, seed and creeping death build (ended up kill Karam first P5, which enraged Raest and he shadow bolted me for 1500hp each SB to death, couldn’t heal threw it). Didn’t try sac but may be good if pet keeps dieing.

Anyway for the first hand I would usually get corr, agony up, interrupt, then 1 addition dot: SL if talented or Vile taint or UA, and then either wraith it down or if talented ID, drain life at 50 stacks instead of wraith. While swapping back to Karam to CoE if needed.
For second hand Karam is closer by then, so corr, agony, interrupt, a third dot and by then you have to run. Cast corr on hand repeatedly while running, it does a initial cast damage don’t forget. 2-3 dots plus running and spamming corruption on it will kill it in time.
After that it’s just a combination depending on how close Karam is. Interrupt macro to it, dot it up, vile taint if you can hit some adds also, wraith if you have time, drain life if it’s stacked up and spam corr if you have to run.

A few other tips.
For soaks, you can put your pet on the soak. Helps if your pet is on passive and parked in the mid somewhere so if can get there in time and will stay put. Put the pet move to button on your bars. And note soon as you use it to interrupt it will run off to attack the interrupt target.
Howl of terror is nice for oh crap moments, like soaking with adds on you. It also works on Karam.
Shadowfury works on Karam.
Fear works on Karam.
Banish and fear both work on big add if you get one.

I can barely put a dent in the boss’ health.

P5 kill Karam first, keep adds up to power ID, CoT Raest I would think, and drain life threw the damage. After Karam is dead no more hands, so just need to soak. And banish if you miss one.

Thanks all! I feel like P3 will be luck if I get through it. Lol!
