Affliction stat scaling

As afflic warlock I have 13,224 haste stat, yet my haste is only at 20%. I also have 18,625 versatility but it’s only at 24%. Every single piece of gear I have on is haste vers except for my shoulders (haste mast) and 1 ring (vers mast). What gives? I know that secondary stats scale differently based on spec and class, but scaling this low seems a bit absurd. I guess I’d just like some clarification on if this is correct or if there is an issue with stats scaling correctly for affliction. Thoughts? Thanks for reading!

Specifically, haste tends to be lowest at the start of an xpac and gradually increases with better gear toward the end. I’m running crit (several talents increase DoT crit) and I’m liking my damage output so far.

Unless it’s changed, the only stat that scales different for each spec is Mastery. Right now, we’re just dealing with start of xpac, earlier raid gear numbers. These will be quite low and we will scale up over the course of the expansion.

Haste and mastery are usually the go-to for affliction vs versatility.

I thought about focusing a little more into crit for more nightfall procs, but even without the crit it feels like they’re consistent already. I do want to play around with getting as much mastery as possible on the pieces I can but casting anything on afflic even with max haste gear feels so slow for GCD
