That’s a good thing, never ever cater to the top of the top players? Why? Because they aren’t the majority of players, they don’t keep the lights on. The casuals do, you have to cater to the casuals or you run into “TOP PLAYER ELITES!!!” problem that wildstar ran into. All the casuals will leave, only leaving the top players…who also stop playing because all they really wanted to do was to show how big their epeen were to the casuals…which weren’t there.
There’s a reason why when wow becomes more casual friendly, their sub numbers skyrocket up. Why ff14 also is still healthy and swtor is still alive today as well. The casuals keep the lights on who also buy into the microtransaction stuff.
