On my lock, if I’m about to take the inevitable dirt nap, I dot as much as I can before my trip to the grave yard.
But when I rez, I’m unable to mount because I remain in combat due to the dots I’ve casted before I died.
Usually takes about 10-15 seconds to be able to mount again.
Is this a bug or intentionally part of the spec ?
To be honest, I don’t know.
Sometimes I actually AM able to mount, even with active DOTs, and sometimes I’m not.
Might depend on which DOT exactly is active.
unholy dk deals with the same issue, im willing to put up with a bit of slow return from rez if my team wide dots aren’t insta cleared on my death.
I don’t mind waiting either for the most part.
Although, sometimes I need to quickly get on my mount to catch up to an EFC and those few seconds are crucial.
