Hello - some feedback regarding latest Warlock changes via the Beta Feedback: Warlocks.
The positioning of Kindled Malice is not terribly appropriate for single target damage in it’s current spot behind Seed of Corruption. I would rather see Kindled Malice before Seed so we aren’t taking ineffective talents to get to better options.
TBH Seed in its current role as a Wither/Corruption spread tool should just be an auto acquired spell at around level 16. They could have a talent to make seed spread via multi seeds as on live and or also spread Wither/Corruption, to avoid the current issue with vile taint refresh.
If you want to make the class more involved then a auto refresh with seed spam just make it beneficial to manually apply refresh as you have with other talents like additional damage from manual refresh within 10 seconds. Keep going down that path make it a true playstyle choice Easy rotation via seed or hard rotation with some benefit via manual renewal (also manual renewal doesn’t just have to be more damage it could also be a longer dot duration manual dots application lasts 4 seconds longer than auto applied dots so button bloat/ complexity is rewarded.
All 3 warlock specs have to spend 1 point to always have their basic aoe spell. None of them can path around it and still spend enough points.
This is clearly a deliberate design choice.
Hate that i literally cant take malice without taking seed for pvp. A spell we legit will never press.
