why shadowfrost?
Warlocks use and harness powers from any source they can get so soul rot being nature wasn’t really a big deal, I think it was a really bad change for warlocks in gen. They need to make UA or fear on a different spell school so we can do something if we get kicked other then just stand there with our thumbs up our as$.
Make UA chaos damage or something or as others said shadowfrost dmg

Because they need another school of magic. And I think mindspike from shadowpriests is a shadowfrost spell. So if they get countered casting a regular shadow spell, they can still cast mindspike But if they get caught casting mindspike they can’t cast anything because it will lock out both frost and shadow. It’s similar to how chaos bolt works with destruction locks.

There is no plagueschool in the game.
But there is a shadowfrost. school of magic, or maybe it’s frostshadow.
Either way it exists, and soul rot could easily be switched to that double school of magic so affliction isn’t just a one school casting tard that sits there twiddling its thumbs after being stunned, spell countered, kicked, etc…

cause it’s called spell reflection not shield reflection
it even says it is reflecting with the weapon
warriors have honed their skills to such a degree that they can do that now

So then add flavor to the soul rot tool tip to justify the use for affliction
Or just do the obvious thing and make it plague school
