How is Aff doing in keys these days? I am so dreadfully bored of Demo at this point. I don’t raid much so I don’t care what their doing there nor do I pvp with any casters. I see tier got buffed, so that’s a small bonus. What’s everyone opinion? Thanks!
I was pushing around the 18/19 range last season. The tier set bonus basically does nothing for our m+ stuff. You spend shards on Seed of Corruption. Affliction is still a mass AoE powerhouse, but its single target is really lacking. The tier set will help to alleviate that a little but not much. It’s fine for your weekly 15 though.
Aff was one of the best AoE spec picks in the game last season but since the tier doesn’t help their AoE further but helps their ST, I expect them to still see quite a bit of play but slide from their upper-middle slot they had all season.
I expect it to be average at beat. Tier set will help single target but not enough to make it good with the seed build. Seed build single target is so swamp *** that even a 25% buff to rapture wont do much for it. And since the tier set wont do much for aoe seed build then it will not be as dominant as it was in previous season. Maybe the Pantheon build could be viable but i’ve not seen it being used yet. Right now i have trouble beating our prot pally tank on boss fights if we don’t pull trash on the boss with the seed+wia build so 25% on rapture wont do much if at all. I’m already prepared to switch either demono or destruction with 4 tier pieces.
