I guess since it hasn’t been fixed after two days, its intentional. I think its an awful change.
Missing attonements because your radiance targets ghosts is bad.
Having Sheilun’s gifts pump into ghosts and leave party members low is bad.
Watching treants cast into a ghost we could simply dispel is bad.
Auto healing trinkets you already have no agency over procing on ghosts is bad. Its not hard to dispel them or stack dispels in a group, revert this.
yeah it’s fudged, this makes high keys borderline unplayable unless your party is on these like lightning
It’s very annoying, the ghost likes to eat prayer of mending as well (even though it can literally never use it). Awful change if it’s intended.
It’s funny because there is a thread on the monk forums praising the changes because atom and such now heal them.
I could understand maybe some things going into the spirits, but they have way overdone it with what can actually target them. It feels like literally everything can pump into them at the moment, and there are quite a few specs that really don’t need certain heals going into a spirit.
I only play disc, mw and rdruid at the moment and its feeling really annoying.
Blizzard please fix, afflicted getting smart heals and aug buffs is very bad.
Its kinda nice that I can just brainlessly do the affix while doing ancient teachings, but I would be beyond tilted if I lost a player to the ghosts eating my chi ji shield. Glad to see afflicted being the awful affix I knew it was.
I had a very unfortunate overlap on my monk where two ghosts spawned a frame before I finished a big shaelun’s gift, the ghosts ate it and then some one died. Was very tilted.
That sounds awful, I hate this affix so I just choose to take a break and only do the 18s for myth track weekly and play alts instead. Its really bad if smart healing is at risk of being unusable because of an affix at high key levels.
On my tank I’ve stopped bringing Aug evokers entirely this week, since they keep buffing the afflicted with their buffs (not their fault, but they are gimping DPS none-the-less)
It’s kind of hilarious that they are getting Aug buffs lol.

Is this just how afflicted works now then? Been like this all week, also keep seeing them spawn outside of dungeon entrances debuffing everyone waiting outside lol. Not sure how that happens. Seems like if the affix is THIS BUGGY it shouldn’t be in the rotation.
