Hey everyone quick question for you all.
What spec of mage works well with an affliction lock?
Me and my buddies have been running disc/aff/fire mage and I feel it doesn’t make since with rot/burst.
I know it’s an actual high ranking comp but would him playing a frost mage make since? Like a cleave comp?
Also I don’t know how well set bonuses and double legos are going to affect frost /fire mages.
Any help would be appreciated! Thank you all!
Necrolord frost mage pumps and the control he would provide could help you survive.
The damage the frost mage will do with 4 set bonus, the slick ice legendary, and the necrolord deaths fathom legendary will be disgusting.
Also have the disc priest switch to holy it’s so much stronger than disc right now.
Frost traditionally. Slows help them stay in line while the lock maintains pressure.
It helps now that frost is also capable of just removing people from the game via icy blue kamehameha.
frost mage, but please don’t play this comp for the sake of everyone around you
this will shock nobody but rot/burst does have synergy if you play something that has tools to capitalize on rot and win the game with burst. a disc priest sucks at that, but holy priest would make it super easy to rot everybody to 70% and then combust them to 0% in a stun
frost mage will prob work better for you if aff and disc are locked in though
