I had a quick question that I can’t find anywhere online so I figured I’d ask on here. Does anyone know where Aedelas Blackmoore was from? Which human kingdom specifically? He was made Lord of Durnholde, which I know is in Hillsbrad, which was, at one point, occupied by Syndicate, I believe? Is it safe to say he was of Alterac? Or is there a source that says what lands he hailed from?
I do not have a source for this, but I remember reading a story somewhere where Blackmoore had to answer to Prince Arthas as his sovereign. This would imply that Blackmoore was a subject of the Kingdom of Lordareon. Hillsbrad is also territory of Lordareon, so that also lines up with what I am saying here.
He’s a subject of King Terenas so he would be a Lordaeron citizen. If he is tied to any noble houses it might be Ravenholt based solely on location.
All of the Human kingdoms bent knee to Terenas at the time. But by this period Alteraac had already been dissolved and whatever wasn’t being controlled by the ogres or taken up between the Dwarves and the Frostwolves was under vassalage to Lordaeron.
