Seems to be my biggest weakness, i use tab to go through each enemy but then I want to return to one of my prior enemies and I have start over and press tab until the right enemy shows up.
Is there a better way to do this that I am missing? Trying to get down unholy aoe rotation.

Not for festering strike.
You can set a keybind to target the previous target. Alternatively, using your mouse to select a target through manual click or mouseover macros works quite well if you have enemy health bars set to visible (stacking, not overlapping).
