So I’ve been a horde player ever since I started playing WoW because my friends played horde. I found guilds and forged friendships in the horde beyond my IRL friends. But now that everyone I know has stopped playing, I’ve been curious if it’s worth trying out alliance. I guess I’m just afraid that if I swap, and my friends come back, I’ll be stuck in this crossroads. Any thoughts on this (probably stupid) situation? Thanks!
Play what you want to play. Theres a lot of people who play this game there more then one friend group. Take risks you can always keep a character geard on both sides if you wanted.
I switch sides often. I find that I primarily play Alliance, but I still have my horde characters.
Swap over your main, give it a shot, and see if you like it. If your friends do come back, it’s easy enough to buy a realm switch again to rejoin them.
Switching sides also makes things feel fresh. There is nothing like playing Alliance after being on the Horde for a couple years. Gives the game a bit of a fresh coat of paint.
