Hi there. So I’m not a rogue expert by any means but I’ve decided to do the outlaw tower for the mog set. I’ve never been very good at rogue and barely scraped by in the tower in Legion with it.
So far I’ve gotten very roughly reacquainted with how to do aoe with the spec and I’m managing the adds okay initially. However, I’m having a really hard time actually dpsing the boss herself down (I haven’t even gotten her to 10% without wiping). My health sustain isn’t an issue for the most part until the third round of adds where everything spawns while she does her Dark Fury.
Can someone give me some tips on how to chunk single target dps on her and maybe some fat aoe? Do I have decent gear and talents for it? Stats?
quickdraw, acrobatic strikes, (MFD or deeper strat), iron stomach, dirty tricks, Dreadblades, blade rush is what I used to get it done.
run crippling poison to help with adds. You have a free interrupt for one add with gouge and another via free cheapshot.
bladeflurry when adds spawn for free extra damage on them, not before they spawn. bladerush wipes mobs out too
So I’ve done fury warrior and ele sham so far, this is a way more annoying Agatha tbh.
But, watch this guide and follow what this guy says.
My attempts have gotten much cleaner and imo once I get some more consumes and the tincture trink it’ll be a gg. Save blade rush & flurry for when he says, save cloak for overlaps.

Honestly just enchant crusader on an heirloom lvl 45+ weapon. Makes it pretty faceroll.
Save cloak + health pots for stupid overlaps.
Don’t swap to fuming imps, if you just circle around agatha with blade flurry on it will kill them. They won’t cast the puddle even if they are right on you if you keep moving for some reason. Might be a bug but it makes it pretty easy.
crip poison works well.
Dont use Killing spree. Makes sense on paper but in practice killing spree with trigger fuming imps and if you don’t get good rng they will get the pools off before they die. No bueno.
I actually just got it an hour ago or so. My biggest problem was I had almost no versatility and fairly low haste in the instance. I slapped on some better gear and a couple different trinkets and knocked her over in 6 and a half minutes.
I tested this out and it’s ridiculous how much this procs and heals
Yeah it basically breaks the encouter.
One more tip for anyone reading who is going for completion before reset:
Get sylvan elixirs (very, very helpful), unbridled fury pots, get the flask of currents from BFA (scales higher in agility), save drums for the end of the encounter.
Get a seedpod from emerald nightmare if you can, that thing is super good. Use it on every umbral wave - drop the pool under Agatha

Yep. I didn’t play in legion so this was all new for me and I didn’t really care enough to research the fights. Because of this I didn’t even use drums because I honestly didn’t know you could use them until after I already killed her. I legit went in there fully current geared / enchanted with no special pots or weird trinkets got her to 15% after about 10 tries and my buddy recommended crusader. I put crusader on the heirloom thrash blade (do not recommend this specific weapon, it only procced 7 times the entire fight according to details. Get one with stats instead.) and I swear to you that you can legit drool on your keyboard and beat the encounter due to crusaders stupidly overpowered heal.
I can never target the imps. As soon as they get near Agatha, I get stuck on her.
