Advertising in group finder

Should result in an instant permenant IP ban.

Change my mind.

Any group that contains the “WTS” tag in any shape or form should result in character deletion and account termination the instant you make the listing.

It’s getting worse and worse by the day, take a stand.

Hm you know, if those advertisements weren’t so spammy, I would probably say this is too radical…

but this seems fine to me actually. I am sick of seeing this stuff in every chat channel.

I don’t understand why Blizzard wont give them their own tab to advertise in.

Indeed , they got trade chat , forums and discords to advertise themselves , plenty enough .

While at it thought , it should also include those advertising their twitch in exchange for carries . It’s annoying when there is so many “fake” groups on the premade … Even free carries have some hidden agenda asking you for gold when you Q up or asking you to go follow their twitch …

Because blizzard kinda doesn’t support it, they want to turn a blind eye to it.

If carries had their own tab, it would mean that Blizzard supports them to a certain extent, which means some players will try to hold Blizzard accountable when they inevitably get scammed.

which would accomplish exactly nothing

basically why it should be a bannable offense.

If its not an obvious website advertisement its a chance at being flat out scammed.

It should not be allowed.

you are correct.

blizz needs to better moderate their LFG listings, etiher through automation or someone manually checking it.

Isn’t your game and not subject to your draconian measures just because there is something you don’t like.

Technically, they are selling a group. So it is in the appropriate channel.

Also, it effects you an absolutely zero ways, so you are essentially just being cranky because you can’t afford one of the groups.

Relax, they’re just memeing.

It affects them because they have to sift through the carry groups to find a real group.

it falls under ToS when every single “WTS” Group is advertising websites for REAL LIFE MONEY.

They are against the rules of the game and should be punished, but blizzard just turns a blind eye
