Dragon isles should remove adventure mode once war within launches and just make everyone level through all the zones from 10-70. Since dragon isles is going to be the default zone for all.

On alts right now, you can choose whatever zone you want to level in if your main finished the MSQ. That’s called “Adventure mode.” (By no one but Blizz. But I digress…)

OP wants that option removed to make people go through the zones in order when it becomes the new player experience.

But even BfA doesn’t totally block you from choosing zones. OP just likes to make “hot takes” around here to rile up the forums.

Shadowlands already removed thread of fate for leveling so the idea is not new.

BFA was designed like legion to let you choose but by shadowlands that idea has been abandoned.

SL is not DF. And they already stated it’s not going anywhere. Twice.

World of Warcraft: The War Within will include the Dragonflight expansion, which includes Adventure Mode. However, The War Within will remove a core feature from Dragonriding, which will make things easier for players. Instead of collecting Glyphs to unlock Dragonriding abilities, players will automatically have access to all abilities once they unlock Dynamic Flying.

• Removed the ability for players who have not started Threads of Fate to access the system.

  • Developers’ notes: The goal with Threads of Fate was to help alleviate the linear path of Shadowlands for alts as it was the only way for players to level from 50 to 60. Now that Shadowlands has been moved into Chromie time and Chromie Time’s level cap has been increased to 60, players have a multitude of methods to reach level 60. Players currently in Threads of fate can continue through it, but the option will not be available for any new characters.

  • We do not have plans to do similar removals with Dragonflight’s Adventure Mode in future expansions. Threads of Fate is a choice to use in Shadowlands and irreversibly changes a player’s character once it is chosen. It previously created two different experiences of Shadowlands, which would double to four with both of the level up and Threads of Fate being accessible within Chromie time. Adventure Mode in Dragonflight is an overlay to the level up experience and is always on once it is earned regardless of decisions the player makes.

thats what Im seeing then. I normally dont even bother with SLs until Ive got a character leveled pretty high.
Just took a new priest over and its not giving me the option

I only go thru oribos with the eng wormhole for the orgimmar portal anyway lol
