It seems insane that we don’t have the recipes and really all drops listed here. Anything above a green I feel should be listed on a drop in the adventure guide. Is it just me or this kind of crazy?
Not sure I fully understand that post. But your profession book can let you know where to get each recipes you are missing.
Sure but it’s not listed in the Adventure guide as a drop. Seems like it should be both places to me. ie why no recipes in the adventure guide?
It does seem to be an interesting oversight.
Why are some recipes included in the dungeon and raid drop lists but others are not?
There also seems to be variation between expansions, which is nothing new, but does kind of stick out when reviewing them.
I will guess that initially Blizzard thought that people would not need or care about where the profession recipe drops were and did not need to include them in the Adventure Guide lists. It’s only been since DF that the profession menu told you where to find your missing recipes so I could see Blizzard adding the drops to the lists if brought up here or as an in game suggestion.
Stability and standards help a lot in this kind of situation. Constant change I think really causes confusion and sort of doubt…like when you go into a dungeon what tier do you need to be, is it bad luck or the wrong group type, does it work on a follower dungeon…all of that. It makes the game feel…I would say like it’s cheating almost? It’s not, but it makes it feel that way when the stakes are not clear and you have to look in all sorts of places to see what is going on.
If you have a listing of what a boss drops, make it very clear. It drops these blue and epic items. seems simple.
