Sorry We Blew Up (SWBU) is a casual PvE-focused guild full of beer league raiders, stoners, parents, and all-around chill folks who prioritize having a good time while clearing content. If you’re 21+ and looking for a community that feels like a chosen family, we’d love to have you join us!
We’re an established raiding guild on Cataclysm Classic (Mankrik - Horde) but are excited to expand into Anniversary Classic with a subset of members aiming to build a dedicated core raid group.
Whether you’re a seasoned raider, leveling up, or just looking for a social guild, there’s a place for you here. We offer a casual and inclusive environment with no elitism or toxicity, working on obtaining resources to support a guild bank that can provide free bags, crafting materials, and patterns, and support for raiding consumables through maxed-out professions within the guild. Beyond raiding, we run dungeons, PvP events, alt raids, and even out-of-game trivia and party games on Discord.
What We’re Looking For
We’re building out our Anniversary Classic raid team and are recruiting for all roles. Here’s what we’re looking for in new members:
- Guild Officers & Raid Leaders: Experienced leaders to help us grow and guide our raid team
- Raiders of All Roles: Tanks, healers, melee DPS, and ranged DPS are all welcome.
- Max-Level Characters: Jump into raiding right away! Ideally we are looking for players that are still gearing up after hitting max level, or who have just hit max level, but we’ll welcome more geared players as well.
- Leveling Players: Join us now, and we’ll get you into the raid team when you hit 60 if you’d like to raid! If you’d like to chill and play casually, with no focus on raiding, you’re welcome here too!
- TBC Focus: Our goal would be to continue raiding into TBC
- Positive Attitude: We’re not here to poke fun at parses, call people out, or foster negativity. We down bosses, get loot, and support each other every step of the way. Toxicity and elitism have no place here—this is a team, and we lift each other up.
Raid Details
- Schedule: Friday (Main Night)/Saturday (Cleanup/Alt Runs/Other Raids) 7:30–10:30pm EST
- Loot System: 2xSR > MS+1 > OS. Guild members who bring a douse for Molten Core earn an extra +1 SR. Windfury Bindings, crafting mats/patterns, and BoEs are guild-reserved to support progression.
- Discord Required: For coordination, laughs, and community building.
