They did nerf a lot of alt farming advantages with them.
In the case of the rocket it’s probably a massive improvement over what it was. I’ve probably had over 1k attempts at it over the years so it’ll be nice if it’s a massive increased drop chance.

but I’ve seen a bunch of posts today in the various threads about the mount claiming to have gotten one or both mounts today so I’m hoping it’s much higher than that now.
I thought it was the Holidays?

Technically 15 if you can squeeze in one more kill in the three hour window between the reset and it ending.
I’ll echo the others who’ve asked about this so-called ‘heroic difficulty’ for the Crown Chemical Co. encounter. It’s weird that the article mentions it right off the jump as a ‘new’ thing, but then there’s no details given about it anywhere.
Or maybe it’s just poor wording? Maybe the encounter in general is just balanced to be roughly the difficulty of a heroic dungeon boss? Was the encounter modified at all from how it’s been in previous years? It didn’t seem like it, other than since it’s still only the first tier of TWW they didn’t die pretty much immediately.

I believe it’s just that they changed the difficulty to heroic so it’s the only way to do it now. Probably why it seems a little harder to heal and why we’re losing health even not when stepping in the goo.

Isn’t that broom the same one that’s on the trading post now? Also, if you take more alts you won’t get a chance at all on any of them for mounts? I thought it was your first chance is a higher chance and then it goes back to the old way, the very low drop rate? I’ll still take 15 alts a day even if it is pointless. It’s kind of a tradition at this point for me! At least until I get everything I want out of it. If the mounts will not drop, I’m still going to do it. Over and over again! At least some of my alts will get a nice necklace. And I was able to buy the new pet today from just farming the cards from running all the alts though.

I’ve seen 2 replies from 2 different GMs and both say different things so no one really knows. I’ll be doing all my alts starting tomorrow but I don’t have many (13) either way since no one really knows what the true answer is. I still need the Love Rocket and the new one. Didn’t get it today
Ya i think we are right about it being just heroic difficulty tuning and not a “new” heroic version because correct me if i’m wrong but since 2024 love is in the air now now the 2025 version dungeons had a rework on what each difficulty is so they tuned it to fit in with the new changes hence the wording “new” heroic difficulty

I mean, I guess the only way we’re going to know is if one of us gets it on an alt and not on the first run and someone posts about it here. I would love to just take one, but I’m just so conditioned to take multiple toons for years now, I even lined them up the night before who I was going to take.
You cannot get it on other alt runs that same day. The tooltip on the box literally tells you that.
Yeah, if they hit you, it seems to take your health quicker now. On one of the runs I went through, everyone died except me (on my mage) and the tank. Most of the runs go pretty quick otherwise.
Yes it does but also 1 GM said the same and another the opposite…so who do we believe? Even GM’s aren’t on the same page. Just saying I’d rather run mine not really knowing then not running and finding out different later.

Oh ok, I didn’t even noticed that lol, I’ll have to check tomorrow. I’ll still run it anyway, I take alts for other reasons, not just for the mounts.
