Best way to fix solo que is to remove healers make it 2v2. I know the game is “balanced” around 3s but lets gave it the healer meta is boring and outdated.
This idea would be interesting if we could choose which healer we would use in these matches, so we could have a preferred healer that we adapt better to.
For example, I would choose to heal with a monk…if I wanted, for personal reasons, I could switch to disc if I thought it was better.

That’s also a bad take. While I agree dampening is stupid, I do not agree with CC being too much. I’ve seen plenty of matches in blitz brawl where it takes 3 people to kill a good healer. Sure, the CC wasn’t coordinated well between random players, but more often then not we were smart enough to at least counter the obvious casted heals.
Reduce CC any further and good healers will be impossible to kill.
Does blitz have a healer shortage like arena? I’m not sure. But in arena, with all the cc’s in game, as a healer quite often you spend about 1/3 of your time eating a cc, only to come out and have your spells do 50% of their normal healing. Feels big bad.
That is the whole point…
Without that CC, healing would be even more out of control in arena because there are only 3 players total on the opposing team. Without that CC, the games would ultimately come down to which healer runs out of mana first which would be completely stupid.
So a pure DPS person randomly has to heal as a class they’ve never played before? That’s an auto lose… There’s so many procs and different abilities you’ll have no clue what your doing… it only works in LoL because there’s only 4 abilities… Even then getting auto filled normally means losing lane.
I mean I wasn’t entirely serious but wow could easily just have you select preferred healer role and port you in as one.
Or just give you a mech suit with 4 abilites xd.
In all serious just having a crane style buff to do X % of damage as healing would be the simpler solution.
Really there isn’t any solution or fix. No one wants to player healer or support and were down to spitballing ideas of gold bribery to carrot on a stick.
WoW is about playing your character, though.
Tank spec for tinkers.

I feel like this would present an additional layer of problematic balance on top of an already strapped one in pvp. This type of buff would disproportionately effect the damage dealing specs to the point where blizzard would have to purpose tune each spec differently in the event they are granted the buff.
Then you will for sure start seeing complaints like “crane Aff lock is broken!” And what not… lol.

Well to be fair, I’m all for the chaos on a personal level and tend to generally agree with the “tough **it” mentality.
Just pointing out I doubt blizzard would ever pursue that kind of solution.
I’ve got a better idea. Make pet classes summon pet healers like Treants and they can queue as healer. The game is already basically PvAI, may as well go full send. Pet classes have the highest representation already so why not give them pets that AI heal the party as well.
Increases the healer pool while gameplay is the same for the people queueing Demo, BM, Unholy. You only get the healing pets if you queue as healer.
