I saw this too, luckily me and two randoms pulled the assault dude out and the other guy spawned in right before we killed the assault dude

All you need to do is interrupt or spellsteal/consume Cauterizing Flame; this kill is far easier than most people think. As long as you do that, doesn’t matter how many other targets are around. So, recap:

Fire bad, get out of it
Interrupt / consume Cauterizing Flame

I meant it was pretty fun when we were trying to do the Invasion quest on a raid, had to deal with Adara, and then a group of Hordies came to pick us off from the sides.
