Addressing Population Concerns in WoW Classic

Great things gonna happen soon! Thank you so much for responding the community!

Dude, let’s be honest. Everyone saw this coming. It was clear they were gonna layer. They aren’t gonna try to touch the servers because they use a “cloud” service now & would have to pay for any adjustments they make for how the servers handle players, which they aren’t gonna do. Just look at the “reason” why they aren’t adding new servers. They aren’t even decent reasons, because those “reasons” are contradicted elsewhere in Blue responses or this very post. Flat out, it’s the easiest solution for them & they’d rather make a bandaid fix then pay for a major overhaul. It was already crystal clear to alot of us that adding (downgrading/upgrading, etc, which they don’t really “need” to do, as they’re being hosted) new servers weren’t an option, as we’ve dealt with Blizzard before & know what types of things they lead up to with “questions”, responses & “only discussing things”. Even tho, additional servers would have been smarter. LOL #NoChanges

No one wants to transfer from a 12k person server to a 2k person server which is all that is being offered. Give free transfers from 12k to a 6k person server and people will take it.

Great now the carebears get to hide from pvp after they caused these imbalances. Well may as well add flying now.

Going through each and every suggestion but not bringing up faction queues just shows Blizzard is inept and will never do so. Garbage company

Update us on World Bosses and layers.

Also update us why we can’t have a pvp battle with 100+ players in areas like BRM without lag but you won’t update the server. Perfect example is ZG release crashing servers.

How can you justify this with world bosses in the game? How do they work now?

So Blizz confirms it wasn’t paid transfers that was the primary culprit it was mostly just people playing more that had quit coming back?

Kinda like what some of us said then and got shutdown for it?

That maybe some of those people that made queues push 20k in the first few days came back?

“The global pandemic is now so we don’t have time to test new technology…”

This has been an ongoing issue since release, it’s only exacerbated by the global pandemic.

“Nowadays, a World of Warcraft realm isn’t limited by hardware as it would have been in the past. We could open one or five or ten new realms in each region if we believed that players would move to them from the overpopulated realms."

Good to know. If it was this easy I wish you would have opened more on release to relieve servers like Herod, Faerlina, Stalagg, etc.

This post says nothing that matters, it’s just a long winded way to say that you’re bringing back layering and contradicting yourself in the process.

oh nice, adding all these fixes after destroying the Horde population in Incendius.

Within 4 days of launch they had dozens of servers, and the vast majority still don’t have queues .

There are enough servers right now that everyone could play without a queue.

They are not listening to people, they are looking at their canceled subscriptions.

Instead of taking care of bots, they made it so there is even a GREATER incentive for them to exist with the stupid layering.

This has not been an ongoing issue since release lol.

It did suck how Blizzard force transferred a bunch of Horde off despite them having the majority.

They should stop doing that.

Can you please provide information on how this will affect world boss spawns on now layered servers?
