As a long-time player and dedicated member of the World of Warcraft PvP community, I would like to raise a suggestion regarding the Deepwind Gorge battleground. While I appreciate the variety and depth offered by the different battleground maps, I and many other PvP players have found that Deepwind Gorge, in its current form, often detracts from the overall enjoyment of battleground play.
Specifically, the issues with Deepwind Gorge can be broken down into three key points:

Redundancy with Arathi Basin: The core mechanics of Deepwind Gorge are very similar to Arathi Basin. This redundancy makes it feel repetitive, especially when Deepwind Gorge appears frequently in the rotation. The map doesn’t offer enough distinct gameplay variation to justify how often it is selected.

Duration and Base Capture Timer: The time it takes to capture bases in Deepwind Gorge can be overly lengthy, often extending matches unnecessarily. Reducing the timer to capture bases would not only make games more fast-paced but also reduce the overall frustration some players feel when faced with longer matches.

Player Engagement: From my personal experience and discussions with fellow PvP players, I believe that a significant portion of the PvP community would prefer to see Deepwind Gorge less frequently in the rotation. If you were to conduct a poll or review community feedback, I am confident that many players would agree that this map is less enjoyable than others.
Suggestions for Improvement:
- Reduce the frequency with which Deepwind Gorge appears in the battleground rotation.
- Shorten the base capture timers to promote faster, more dynamic gameplay.
- Alternatively, consider reworking or removing the map to create a more enjoyable and varied PvP experience.
