Quest helper addons were so popular that Blizz baked the functionality into the base UI later on.
I will definitely be using a quest helper addon even though I've done them all before.
They also baked LFD into the game... oh and removed talent trees... + more.
Some of the changes Blizz did made the game more "convenient" for sure. But theres a reason classic is being rereleased
