So…got a ton of addons working great, but these 2 I couldn’t find any that worked.
Anyone got a classic-working swing timer or gatherer (lite didn’t work either)…I really woudl like to have metals/herbs listed on the map, and the swing timer is obvious.
“Gatherlite” will work with classic, it’s available in the twitch client. (just remember to switch the copy of WoW you’re getting addons for to /_classic, and you’ll be good)
Does this work for other addons as well? Or is Gatherlite just compatible with classic?
Gatherlite is specifically tagged as being designed for Classic. Some other addons have released classic versions or made the main addon compatible for classic. See their names and descriptions- there are a LOT on twitch already.

Hi, thanks for the help. I knwo “gatherlite” is specifically designed for classic, but when I go to willit and follow the links and get that most currently version, at least as of yesterday it was out of date requiring it be “disabled” when I login to the classic client. Did you not have the same problems?
This is just a warning based on there being a newer version of the Classic client available than the mod is indicated as being designed/tested for. If you tick “Load out of date AddOns,” this one will work. The only problem I’ve had with it is that I had to turn down the minimap opacity so I can see Track Herbs/Minerals dots showing up on already-gathered nodes.
I like gatherer lite but I want the minimap icons turned off.
How do you alter the opacity? I can’t get any menu to pop up with options for gatherer lite.

Obviously, install the one marked “Classic” and not the BFA version. I have it installed and it works great.

Use Menu -> Interface Options -> AddOns tab -> Gatherlite to get to the mod’s options.
Under the header “Mini map options” change the “Icon Opacity” slider. I found 0.5 was good.
I also found that Gatherer Lite was messing up, putting the icons all over my normal screen.
Went to their github and the author has a new version that fixed that.
Also, get the add-on manager minion, it has the weapon swing timer on it.
Swing: quartz. Cast bar with latency, global cooldown bar and swing bar.
