Angry world quests still not working for me, also adi bags, anyone else?
literally everyones addons are broken
Give it a few days. If there’s an addon you really need, and it has a 9.0 Beta counterpart, use that until the retail version addon is updated. That’s how I had to get Details! working. Some addon makers are really slow when it comes to updating them. I’m still waiting for the MikScrollingBattleText fan edit to be fixed.
I know a lot of these guys have real jobs, and they do this stuff for free, but I figured if they made the addons, they must play a lot, and if they play a lot, they’d have been in the open Beta or at least the PTR for the past week.
I mean it is prepatch day, of course many addons are broken. Within a week almost all major addons will be working again.
Addons are not written by Blizzard devs. Addons are created by anyone else in the world.
If the patch changes the “addon interface” (and it usually does), then SOME addons stop working correctly, until each addon creator makes a new version of that addon.
In the past, that has taken hours, days or weeks. It is different for each addon.
