Addons: Only loadable on demand

Afternoon’ all.

I’ve never experienced this issue before, but my DBM and WeakAuras are displaying this error: “Only loadable on demand.” I haven’t been able to find a sufficient solution to fix it. Things I’ve tried:

Disabling all addons, reloading UI. Enabling broken addons, reloading UI.
Disabling only broken addons, reloading UI. Enabling broken addons, reloading UI.
Deleting addons from Interface folder, reinstalling fresh copies.
Deleting Cache and WTF folders, reloading WoW.

Any ideas? Or is this just a ‘wait until the new WeakAuras version that is compatible with 9.1 comes out’ situation? Help is much appreciated.

I just tried both and they seem to work fine.
Best advice I have is check for updates.

I was dreading that it might just be me. Do you mind me asking - did you try them as a fresh install or just logged in to test your already-installed addons?

worked just fine - although one torghast aura appears to be on the fritz

I think you guys might be misunderstanding what ‘Only loadable on demand’ means. On demand means that once you enter a dungeon or raid where DBM needs to be active, then it will work. Only loadable on demand just means it’s not active all the time, but only when it needs to be.

I understand what it means. My issue is that they never load, no matter the situation. Raid, dungeon, PvP, nothing. They just stay off.

from the addons button at the start of the game.
do the LOD addons youre trying to use have dependency disabled next to them?

typically a LOD addon, even if enabled, cannot load if one of its “parents” (dependencies) are disabled.

mouse over the addon and its tooltip will show its dependencies

The dependency for the addon I need is on, but the addon that goes w/ it still says LOD, so now what, to get it to work.

It (cough) depends.

Is the dependancy addon also LOD? If so, does it need to be manually loaded or is it “LoadedWith” something else or…
