None of my addons are working. does anyone have any idea why? Or how to get them running?

Uh… so later on when these changes become live with the official hardcore server and SOM 2 is that what patch we are going to be on?
I don’t think breaking all of the classic addons is a very good idea, I doubt very many of them are going to get updated as a lot of scene has moved on.
?? There are lots of active classic era addons and developers. Updates breaking addons isn’t something new, most of the time it’s because the addon version doesn’t match the server version (but you can still load “out of date” addons). In this case, HC is changing several of the underlying game mechanics, so it really shouldn’t be a surprise to any rational thinking person that the addons will need to update to support modified apis and assets.
You guys know that some addons already been uptade for PTR ? You need to download the ptr version of the addon and not just copy paste the retail era addons. PTR are here for the addons devs too, they can examine the version and make ready for the live version.
