Will these addons work or will I have to use addons from different sites. I did play on private servers for a couple of years. These addons should be the same but with different server specs they may not. Anyone know or will this afternoon be a good time to check and see what will work?
they should work considering those addons were MADE when classic was current.
I think I will copy these addons and put them in the classic wow interface folder and see if they work.

No, they will not work. Classic runs on the 8.x lua scripting engine. You can check curseforge for addons that are 1.13 ready.

The addon has gone through many changes since vanilla. Vanilla had a different API whereas Classic uses a more current one. So no, addons from Vanilla will not work with Classic.
Ah, crap. Well it will give me something to do until the stress test starts. Gonna uninstall the private server and stick with blizz as long as it stays classic. Looks like its time to download some addons then.lol
Head to http://willitclassic.com and search for your favorite add-ons. Many have been updated for Classic, or there are others with the same functionality. The site links to where the downloads are located.
