Seems like archaeology isn’t popular anymore I could only find 2 up to date addons for it. Adibag to sort archaeology related materials and minimal archarology to add small UI with survey, crate, and select nearest dig site. There used to be another with HUD that I can add color to get a good area but that hasn’t been updated for 3 expansions (6+ years) and doesn’t work at all.
Are there any addons not in curseforge that works with DF expansion that I can use? I am trying to get the 2 missing mounts and addons have made this easy in the past.
There is a DBM Archaeology addon, but I don’t really know what it does
The addon you want is called “minimal archeology” it also has distance to fragment color and it isnt that archeology isnt popular, its that blizzard hasnt devoted any resources to it for the last two expansions.

It’s a shame. I can say I have not used it as much. it adds a depth to the game.
It was such a fun profession, a shame that it is not worked on anymore. Also, tried this minimal archeology and it seems quite good!

i still do a lot of archaeology- i use minimal archaelogy has a few qol improvements
