I mean you really have nothing of substance to say to begin with. You just dumped a pile of the same crying into another post when there are already plenty talking about it. It’s spam. But it’s also nonsense. Again, you are not entitled to be able to modify the game however you want to. Especially when it undermines the intended challenges in the game.

How does it undermine the challenges of the game? I’m not using addons for combat help, to know where to stand, who to target. You just saying I’m crying, I’m not. I’m giving feedback, which is exactly what Blizzard says they want. The developers of those addons have put their own time into the game to improve it and have done a great job doing so. If they want to continue making addons and making a small amount of money doing so, why rob them and us of enjoying their work?

I feel like they are going so far extreme – it’s almost like they want to implode the game and stop the “influencers” from playing the game anymore. So they can market and pander to the casuals and the monthly subscription. Ultimately, it’s going to kill the game, yet somehow, someone is uber delussional on this entire matter. If they could come out and maybe explain to us how these changes would do XYZ to improve the game - then ok. Give us the truth - give us face value. We are tired of the corporate / media response blue messages that do not clearly explain why this is being done. If we have questions on the truth, it’s because you aren’t being direct or truthful enough.

The functionality required to allow the addon to work the way you want it to is also what enables the game to be solved by addons. Otherwise blizz would have to play a nonstop game of whackamole. It’s far more efficient for them to cut off access to anything combat related. It’s better for the game and the notion that people should be able to modify it to their hearts content is not a compelling reason to leave that access open
I see yall have started to move away from the ‘addons play it for you’ excuse to ‘addons solve it for you’.

Even ffxiv you don’t have to use the base ui just don’t show it. Your able to use delvui through act along with cactbot in place of dbm and elvui. Act is just a parsing program like the one for wow logs with an overlay. I’m not gonna say one will come to wow but I wouldn’t be surprised if one did.

I think most people aren’t against addons but just like/agree with these changes. I have seen people who are genuinely just anti-addon and pretty weird/toxic about it, but they’re pretty rare and honestly probably best to just put those people on ignore lol.

What are you even talking about. There is no “y’all". I never said it played the game for people evere so there was no position to change. The addons tell you what to do and trivialize the content. And that is from blizzard’s own mouths as well. And anyone being honest because they know it’s true.
