Addon to Play the Game For Me

Okay not actually. But a rotation helper.

Someone mentioned Hekili to me, is this the go-to rotation helper or is there something better?

Download the addon tellmewhen, watch the video on this website and use his profiles. I’ve been using Chesder’s Setups for a while now on the classes I don’t play much and the rotation helper is like 90% accurate. Every once in a while I find I can ignore it to optimize better, but for all intensive purposes it’s great.

Once you learn a bit about TellMeWhen you can disable / enable different aspects and borrow ideas from these profiles.

Hekili is going to straight up tell you what button to push next. I believe its tied directly to simcraft and tells you what the most optimal ability to use is.

Havent used it in a long time, but i know it had both ST and AoE options

You could always just get a cat and have him dance on the keyboard.

Tell Me When is a great addon to ensure that the information you need to make informed decisions on what ability to use next is where you need it.

It wont, however, tell you how to play a certain class. For that you have various guides; predominantly Icy Veins.

Weak auras by Luxthos are designed to assist in rotation. You can check his YT videos to see if you like it.

Ovale but it comes down to now with classes and 4 button play just smash the button when it’s off GCD. Lol

There is Hekili, Hero Rotation, Ovale… probably more. I like Hekili because it was designed by a shaman for shamans initially.

Why?
I never understand why people need certain add-ons that direct them to play the game, instead of them actually learning how to play the game.
DBM is the worst, it takes the challenge of learning the boss monster’s tactics down to a simple Simon Says.

Alts I don’t want to research on but also don’t want to completely suck for the 1 or 2 times a month I play them

Classes are already boring in BFA… why do you want to make them even more boring?

It literally takes maybe 30 minutes of research to figure out how to play a class optimally these days. If its not worth 30 minutes of research, then you arent going to play the class enough for it to matter if you play it well or not.

There are dozens of addons for that. Personally i wish addons were a banable offense. having thing highlight every move inform you where to go in a fight and telling u what to counter/when to counter etc isnt playing that character…bots should be ok i guess as long as you sit there and watch it right?
