Addon to keep track on festering wounds?

Having a difficult time keeping track of festering wounds on the target.

Is there any addon to help with that?

NO weakauras please, I don’t use that addon.

I use “tell me when” for buff and debuff tracking you can set up as many windows/rows etc as you like/need.

Weak auras are helpful for encounters etc, but I’ve been using this since like cata so I’m pretty used to it.

You can setup multiple windows/trackers for things like elemental lariat procs, tier set bonus procs, unholy strength etc.

I track wounds too and it’s definitely helpful. The addon shows a timer for active wounds on your target, and it’s stack count, and you can customize all of this too of course to display differently, size, location etc.

I remember just checking out some YouTube tutorials when I first set it up and that’s all I needed.

You can save different window profiles for different specs too, so when you swap gear/talents, it can be easy to swap how your UI tracks and displays too with one click.

I mean if you’d like, I can just send you the Weak Aura I use to keep track of it in the meantime. Its just a stack number next to my runes under my personal resource display.

If someone has the weakaura, or any premade, all you need to worry about is moving the location on your screen. I don’t see a reason to not use WA if you’re just importing WAs. Creating customs are another story but you don’t need to do this.

It is super annoying it is tracked on nameplates for everything but raid bosses.

Download an Addon called “Plater” and in the Buffs/Debuffs, take it off automatic, and you can add Only Festering Wound and Virulent Plague and that’s all you’ll ever see. Then add auras as you see fit.

Type /weakauras
Click on the top option: premade auras
Choose the format (i tend to like icon 64x64)
Choose the buff/debuff
Choose where you want it.

You say you don’t use weakauras, but weakauras has the exact functionality you are looking for.

I started using Plater. Took some time to adjust everything just right. I can post my “build” when I get home… if it has that function…

I strongly suggest using weakauras.
It is super simple.
You can import use created ones from wago.io

Not having it is almost as big of a detriment as clicking your abilities.

The extra information it can provide is insanely valuable.

I typically use Plater Nameplates. It can keep track of all your DoT’s including Festering Wounds on each target.
