Addon to filter spam?

I am honestly not sure where to post this but I need some help. I see like 6 messages from Huokan community every few minutes it absolutely FLOODS trade and my ignore list is full. Is there any way to filter this spam out?

You add words you want to block. I see almost none of the spam. I love it.

At this point they should be rolled into the default UI. It’s gotten that bad.

I agree. Both of those should be built into the UI by default.

Do you need the plugins? I installed BadBoy but it doesn’t seem to be blocking anything.

Please no. Last time they rolled an addon into the game, they took that opportunity to make alts m+ even more of a pita.

  • 9.0: get ksm on any character, can upgrade to 220 on any others
  • 9.1: get ksm on any character, only that character can upgrade to 246 because now upgrades are tacked to individual rating

I just want to thank you and everyone who mentioned BadBoy, I added the plugin and haven’t seen a single huokan community boosting add since. I can finally actually read my chat again.

Reroll on an absolutely dead server like Skullcrusher and the boosting communities don’t even bother. XD It’s like the wow equivalent of being from a backwater town.

Bad boy has a number of components you can add. You want the spam blocker and ignore add-ons to begin with. Then you can start adding keywords to the spam blocker. Add words or combination of words like: “WTS m+” and “huokan” and “gold only”, etc.

I also use the character by level blocker. So anyone under level 10 who whispers me is immediately treated as spam and can be one-click reported.

Is someone willing to give me a common list of words they’ve blocked? I can think of a few.

I noticed i dont have that huokan or whatever. But the others blocks them anyway. You can of course add or remove anything. Like when people do the an al jokes or specific topic like politics
